Fall for the Arts
About the Event
Fall for the Arts has been an ever evolving juried artist show around Lake Gaston since 2008. Thank you to all who have been involved in making this event great! The FFTA artist community has praised the unique and open platform offered, allowing each artist and patron the opportunity to learn and grow from one another in our relaxed and inspirational setting. In order to further encourage this evolution, the event organizers have elected to make Fall for the Arts a biennial event.
Below are some of the features we would like to explore to develop for future FFTA events, but we encourage your input for more ideas that would be of interest to you for this event. Please contact us.
- Educational seminars for artists
- Offering artists a retreat setting
- Continue the concept of hosting patrons party with artist auction
- Serving gourmet food that supports the high quality of the art
- Bringing the Lake Gaston community together to support the arts
- Continue to host out of town artists in the homes of lake residents and encourage them to relax and enjoy the beauty and serenity of Lake Gaston
Meet the artists in a relaxed setting while enjoying complimentary refreshments, music and hors d’oeuvres. Artwork will be on display and is available for sale, including paintings, ceramics, photography, fused glass, sculptures, jewelry, mixed media and much more!
