  • 2014 Crossing Volunteers Needed +

    THE CROSSING 2014 NEEDS VOLUNTEERS!

    If you would like to volunteer, please download and complete this form

    We need help in the following areas:  

    Registration, Finish Line T-Shirt Distribution, Event Set-up and Break Down,

    Water Support to place swim lanes (boat needed - early morning job), and Security.  

    Any help is appreciated!

     

    Form must be completed and turned in before August 1, 2014.  All Volunteers must attend a training meeting Thursday, August 7th at 7 PM at The Pointe.  At this meeting, Job Training and T-Shirts will be distributed.

    Fall for the Arts - Lake Gaston art show & sale is set for October 25, 2014 - 10AM - 5PM. 

    Fall For The Arts at Lake Gaston, NC, is a fund raising event for O'Sail. The event is a juried artist show and sale at multiple locations around the lake. 

    Meet the artists October 24th in a relaxed setting while enjoying complimentary refreshments, music and hors d’oeuvres arranged thoughout private homes that serve as sites for the artists to display and sell their work. Artwork includes paintings, ceramics, photography, fused glass, sculptures, jewelry, mixed media and much more!

    Join the creative, fun loving supporters of O'SAIL for a series of "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" social events including dinner with a special "surprise" guest speaker.  

    Each year the events will be held on the 3rd Thursday of january, February, and March.  Come see what surprises are in store!  Social Hour begins at 6 PM, Dinner at 7 PM.

    Tickets are $25 - Includes dinner & beverage (cash bar).  $15 of ticket fee is a tax deductible contribution to O'Sail.

O’Sail was organized to raise funds by hosting fun-filled events and activities that entertain and benefit Lake Gaston residents and visitors.

501(c3) OrganizationO’Sail, the Organization to Support the Arts, Infrastructure and Learning on Lake Gaston is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

We serve as a philanthropic resource to other non-profit organizations serving the lake to enhance the sense of community, friendship and lake awareness.

O’Sail is proud to have provided grants to many non-profit organizations in the Lake Gaston area including local Fire Departments, the Lake Gaston Water Safety Council, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Warren County New Tech High School and many others.
